ON 21 JUNE, MILAN BERGAMO AIRPORT WILL BE CELEBRATING THE FESTA DELLA MUSICA

21 June sees the return of music to Italian airports. Following the suspension of the traditional event in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, the Italian Civil Aviation Authority and the Assaeroporti association, in collaboration with the airport management, will once again be offering a series of concerts on the theme of “Recovery Sound & Green Music Economy”. The 2022 edition represents a symbolic moment of recommencement for a sector that has been one of the most heavily hit by the crisis caused by the COVID-19 health emergency. SACBO and Milan Bergamo Airport have accepted the invitation to organise for Tuesday 21 June, from 9.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., a rich programme of musical performances that will take place in various areas within the terminal and that will see the involvement of musicians from the “Paolina Secco Suardo” musical high school playing wind instruments, violins, pianos and classic guitar, a number of young talents from the Gaetano Donizetti Conservatory and four ex-piano students taught by the maestro Marco Giovannetti; Elena Migliorini, who will be playing works by Schumann, Rachmaninov, Satie and Janácek; Roberta Vorzitelli, who will be proposing pieces by Bartok, Bach and Ligeti; Emanuele Vegetti, who is slated to play Chopin, Mompou and Skrjabin; Daniele Guerra, who has chosen Beethoven, Skrjabin and Rachmaninov.
