RECOMMENCEMENT OF SCHEDULED FLIGHTS AT MILAN BERGAMO AIRPORT

Milan Bergamo Airport, which remained open and operational during phase 1 on the Covid-19 emergency, saw the arrival of the first scheduled flight following the issuing of
the decree for the reopening of the airport for passenger traffic on 5 May.
At 6:51 a.m., Wizz Air flight W6 4351 from Sofia landed with 113 passengers on board, the first to pass through the airport since 13 March, together with the 81 who departed from Bergamo on the same aircraft, taking off towards the Bulgarian capital at 7:50 a.m. (flight W6 4352).
Passenger and aircraft assistance was carried out by personnel from the company AGS Handling, who were able, with reassurance provided by protective equipment in the fixed assistance stations in the check-in and boarding gate areas, to apply the procedures set out by the airport management company
SACBO in compliance with the previsions of the regulations and guidelines set out by the Italian Civil Aviation Authority.
