Reserved car parking

For departing disabled people arriving at the Bergamo-Orio al Serio airport by their own means, parking spaces delimited by barriers are reserved in the P1H car park, inside the P1 car park and parking spaces delimited by barriers in the P2H car park, inside the inside the P2 car park.

Car parking is free in the area dedicated to people with disabilities in the P1H and P2H car parks.

There is a charge for parking in P1 (outside P1H) and P2 (outside P2H).

To apply for free parking, you must present the following documentation at the parking ticket office at the entrance, in addition to the entry ticket to the car park itself:

  • Identity document;
  • C.U.D.E. (Unified European Disabled Badge), to be displayed on the parked vehicle;
  • For parking durations exceeding 6 hours, flight ticket or flight reservation for departure.

Users without the required documentation will be required to pay for parking according to the current rates.

Any abuse will be subject to tariff increases (up to 250 Euros) and reporting to the competent authorities.

Stalls are also reserved for disabled people in the uncovered P3 car park.

RESERVED LANE FOR VEHICLES CARRYING PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY

Please note that at the airport there is a Reserved Lane, located near the terminal, which can be used by vehicles carrying persons with disabilities.

For access to the reserved lane:

  • The vehicle’s number plate must be registered by sending an email to: [email protected]
  • The documents (vehicle registration, disabled person’s badge, identity document and date of transit) can be sent before transit or within 6 days from the date of the transit actually performed.

The regulations are also shown on special signs placed at the entrance to the airport area, at the point of access to the aforementioned lane and on various information panels placed inside the passenger terminal.

In the Reserved Lane at Milan Bergamo Airport, the provisions of the Highway Code apply for all aspects concerning road traffic. Penalties for non-compliance with these regulations will be applied following checks performed by the Local Police officers, notified to the offender and handled by the respective authorities for the subsequent fulfilment of the law (notifications, injunctions, etc.); penalties issued by means of the electronic detection systems will be handled by the Traffic Control Centre of the Municipality of Orio al Serio.
